With yet another snow storm over New Jersey, the university has closed early for the day. The 2 p.m. dismissal has delayed many students from attending the first session of some of their courses today.
Founded in 1942 by Dr. Peter Sammartino and his wife, Sylvia (Sally), Fairleigh Dickinson University has grown into the largest private university in New Jersey.
